Floral Court, in London’s historic Covent Garden, is one of just eight projects to be recognized in these prestigious awards. The winners will be exhibited at the AIA Conference on Architecture in Los Angeles in May.
The winning projects will be recognized at an exhibition at the Center for Architecture opening on April 16 and a luncheon ceremony the following day.
Recognized for Excellence in Office Development and Excellence in Mixed-Use Development, the projects transform a previously desolate and under-utilized site into a vibrant new neighborhood with cutting-edge, energy efficient office space.
The tower’s design supports Singapore’s Landscape Replacement Policy, replacing all greenery lost due to development with an equal area of publicly accessible green space within the new building.
The CTF Finance Centre and Ping An Finance Centre are among the top 100 works of architecture in China over the past decade.
The projects were recognized as the Best Office Development and the Best Hotel and Tourism Development, respectively.
The two projects are recipients for both the International Region Design Award and the Sustainable Future Award.
Completed earlier this year, the trophy office building was honored in the Commercial Office category.
CITIC Tower, Suzhou IFS, Robinson Tower, Rosewood Bangkok, Victoria Dockside, and Hudson Commons all received accolades across various categories.
The Hong Kong project is a recipient of a Grand Award and a Special Citation on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
