Yee Tak Lau is a Director at KPF with more than 15 years of professional experience as a design and project manager, having worked in the United States, Europe, Hong Kong, China and Southeast Asia. Since joining KPF in 2006, she has played an integral role in the design, management and delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from large-scale commercial, residential and mixed-use developments to boutique hotels, bespoke houses and high-end interiors.

Yee Tak is gravitated towards complex urban projects with rich history and cultural context, committed to working collaboratively and seek elegant, creative solutions for clients.

Yee Tak’s recent projects in China include WF Central, a luxury mixed-use development in the heart of the Forbidden City. The premium lifestyle/retail district with a boutique Mandarin Oriental Hotel is anchored to Beijing by a grand open space incorporating historic structures for cultural use. She also worked on Forum 66 in Shenyang, Spring City 66 in Kunming and Westlake 66 in Hangzhou. All of which are urban mixed-use developments with world-class retail, Grade-A office towers and serviced apartments.

In Bangkok, Yee Tak is working on One Bangkok, a fully integrated district in the heart of the city. The project is a complex and prestigious development of office, retail, hospitality and residential components incorporating the unique essence of Thailand’s rich history, combining local context with new experiences of urban living.

In Hong Kong, Yee Tak’s residential work includes Blue Pool Road Residence, a unique luxury residential development with 9 pairs of townhouses in the heart of the city. She also worked on 14-18 Mosque Street, which challenges the typology of a standard residential tower with shifted massing and a corner balcony/window feature.

For interiors, Yee Tak’s work includes Landmark Hong Kong Renovation and Hang Lung Plaza 66 Renovation, successfully redefined each project for the future generations of urban, luxury and exquisite living.

Yee Tak has been an active member of the AIA and served on the Board of Directors. She is a frequent guest critic at the University of Hong Kong’s School of Architecture, and is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
