Two KPF Projects Shortlisted in the Architizer A+Awards

Edge and China Resources Tower have been shortlisted in the 8th Annual A+ Popular Choice Awards, with winners to be determined by a public vote, open through July 31.

Edge at 30 Hudson Yards is one of five projects in the world to be shortlisted in the Gallery & Exhibition Spaces category. The highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere, Edge takes visitors on an experiential journey that celebrates the thrill of transformation. Starting from the dedicated queuing area reimagined by the LAB at Rockwell Group as “Journey to Edge”, to the big reveal of the 360-degree city view on Level 100, Edge places visitors in the center of the story of Hudson Yards and NYC. China Resources Tower has also been shortlisted in the Office – High Rise (16+ Floors) category. Anchoring the burgeoning Houhai District with a design distinguished by its innovative structure and geometric precision, the tower is inspired by the spring bamboo shoot. At 400 meters in height, its light, stable and fast-to-erect tube and diagrid system is expressed in a tapered, sculptural form. To vote for China Resources Tower, click here.

Winners of the Popular Choice Awards will be published in the next edition of The World’s Best Architecture, produced by renowned publisher Phaidon. Learn more about the Architizer A+Awards here.
