“Zayed International Airport’s Terminal A sets new standards in building design,” says Passenger Terminal World in a feature on the recently opened airport.
In the feature, KPF Principal Mustafa Chehabeddine described how Zayed International Airport Terminal A, was designed to anticipate evolving requirements. “Flexibility has been created by replacing columns with mega arches,” explained Mustafa, “allowing for future changes within the space.”
