The Architectural League’s First Friday Program Visits KPF’s New York Office

The November 1 event will be an informal open studio-style gathering, where guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at KPF’s projects and culture while engaging with staff in the firm’s newly renovated space.

At the firm’s First Friday event, members of the architectural community will have the opportunity to learn about current and upcoming projects while socializing with each other over light snacks and beverages. Recent renovations of KPF’s Midtown office overlooking Bryant Park have opened up studio spaces and expanded flexible areas for collaborative work and events. Notable KPF projects are easily accessible from the office, including One Vanderbilt two blocks away and 520 Fifth Avenue under construction across 43rd Street.

The First Friday program, occurring at the beginning of every month, allows Architectural League members to tour the studios of leading design practices and see active architectural work on their boards. Members of the League range from practicing architects to passionate retirees, all of whom enjoy lively discourse about current urban trends, developing aesthetics, and much more.

First Friday at KPF will occur on November 1 from 6pm to 8pm at 11 West 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan. Learn more and register here.
