Located at the Family Church campus near downtown, the development will include residential and educational programming, as well as spaces for the congregation and community.
Plans for the proposed Family Church Development in West Palm Beach, Florida, were revealed last month. The mixed-use project maintains the sanctity of the historic 1930s worship campus while adding two residential towers and several community buildings. It also includes an updated educational facility along with meeting and office spaces. Residences in the towers are oriented to take advantage of water views, while both buildings are connected by an amenity-filled podium with lush landscaping and rooftop gardens. The existing church’s architecture inspired a unified material palette of beige stucco, green terra cotta, pre-cast concrete panels, and bronze accents that brings together old and new.
The Family Church Development is the latest of several ongoing KPF projects in South Florida, including SQ1 West Rosemary Square, also in West Palm Beach, and One Island Drive and Tower 36, both in Miami.
