Rebecca Cheng Provides Perspectives on Innovative Design with NYU Shanghai

On March 29, the KPF Principal spoke on the pivotal role design plays in optimizing asset performance and creating enduring value in real estate.

In the lecture “Elevating Asset Management with Innovative Design Perspectives,” Rebecca explored case studies, best practices, and emerging trends that highlight the importance of design in the urban environment. She provided insight into KPF’s approach to NYU Shanghai’s unique design, shaping an environment that blends multiple cultural values on one campus.

The event was organized by the NYU Institute for Cities and Real Estate in Emerging Markets (ICREEM) at the KPF-designed NYU Shanghai campus. Support for the event was provided by the Urban Land Institute China and Shanghai Real Estate Group @ NYU. Rebecca was joined by Guohua Jean Zhang, Professor of Practice in Real Estate and Executive Director at ICREEM.

The talk was held on March 29 from 3 to 4 pm, followed by a tour of the campus from 4 to 5 pm.
