KPF-designed life science lab, One North Quay is a finalist in the Best New Development Category of the 2024 MIPIM Awards.
One North Quay is Europe’s largest and most technologically advanced life science building. Amongst an evolving Canary Wharf cluster, the vertical campus supports cross-discipline collaboration, sets ambitious sustainability goals, and will become and iconic presence at the heart of North Quay. Designed for flexibility, the development will accommodate up to 60% laboratory space, with the ability to accommodate significant chemistry and high containment facilities.
The MIPIM Awards recognise the most outstanding real estate projects in the world, celebrating ground-breaking innovation, architecture, environmental qualities, integration, and impact on the community. This year’s award winners will have one thing in common: a holistic commitment to sustainability. Prizes will go chiefly to projects that best serve their end-users and wider communities while contributing to the economy. The judges for the 2024 Awards selected finalists from projects located in 39 countries around the world.
