KPF Principal Mustafa Chehabeddine recently took part in the Final Interview Panel at MIPIM Proptech Europe, alongside Marie Schneegans, Co-founder at Workwell, and Reana Taherly, Head of Innovation at Grand Paris Aménagement, moderated by Frédéric Doazan the French animator and experimental filmmaker from COM L’OISEAU Agency.
Covering a range of topics, the group discussed how architects and planners can address the major challenges facing cities today. The conversation covered the ways that new trends in working, living and moving are shaping the built environment and how architecture can take inspiration from tech industry to drive innovation and better understand the needs of users in city design. Such as looking at predictive modelling to understand the possible use and configuration of spaces and allowing the public to select and vote on how they want neighbourhoods to be developed.
