On March 25, KPF’s Global Director of Design Technology recounted how data has influenced the firm’s approach to design work, as well as his own work outside of the office.
As part of the University of New Mexico’s School of Architecture and Planning Spring 2024 Lecture Series, Luc shared how the integration of data has played a guiding role in the way KPF designs each project, with the influence of the Design Technology team and KPF Urban Interface. In addition to his role at KPF, Luc is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at his alma mater, the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP), which launched a new program for computational design practices in 2021. Designing with data is the foundation for this innovative program that integrates disciplines between architecture, data visualization, and urban planning.
The series is free and open to the public. Luc’s lecture took place on March 25 at 4 pm at the Garcia Honda Auditorium at 2401 Central Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM and over Zoom. Learn more here.
