Luc Wilson Discusses KPFui in the Early Stages of the Building Process

Last Thursday, Luc Wilson, associate principal at KPF and director of KPF Urban Interface, participated in a panel discussion entitled “Building Buildings: Investing.”

The event, organized by Built-In: Architecture and Entrepreneurship, was the first in a four-part series that delves into the complex process of getting a building built from start to finish. The discussion focused on the various challenges encountered at the early stages of projects, bringing together a group of experts in the fields of real estate, architecture, and technology.

Luc spoke about how KPF leverages digital zoning tools and urban data to facilitate site acquisition, feasibility testing, and design analysis in the early stages of project development. He was joined in the discussion by Dolores O’Conner, vice president of Real Estate Strategy & Operations at WeWork; Stephen Smith, co-founder of Quantierra; and Brian Cantrell, vice president of Acquisitions & Capital Markets at Vornado Realty Trust. The event was hosted at WeWork headquarters in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City, and was sponsored by Architizer.
