KPF Public Hosts AIAS CCNY Visit

Students from the program toured the New York office and learned about the firm in an event led by members of KPF Public.

The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) City College of New York (CCNY) chapter, run out of the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture, is a student-run, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students learn, grow, and create a network amongst fellow architects. As part of the program, the group partners with local architecture firms to host office tours, providing the students with an inside look into the industry and offering opportunities for networking. The tour of KPF’s New York office was tailored to the interests of the group and focused on the Makerspace and the Environmental Performance groups, where team members discussed fabrication techniques and sustainable design approaches with students. Architectural Designer and CCNY alum Cesar Soto spoke to the group, answering questions and providing insight from his perspective as a program graduate.
