In celebration of Diversity Month, on April 18, KPF Pride partnered with Build Out Alliance for an event focused on diversity and inclusion and its impact on the industry.
Build Out Alliance teamed up with local chapters of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) to bring together leaders from across the industry for discussions around diversity in the AEC field. Guests learned more about each organization and networked with peers, while participating in conversations about how to better foster environments for increased diversity and inclusion.
KPF Pride, a community group dedicated to raising awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues within the firm, has a longstanding partnership with Build Out Alliance. The organization’s mission is to promote and advocate for members the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQIA+) community within the building design and construction industry.
The event took place at KPF’s office at 11 West 42nd Street from 6 to 8 pm. Learn more about the event here.
