On June 19, the KPF model-making team hosted a fast and furious competition as part of the London Festival of Architecture.
KPF welcomed those with an interest in architecture, design, and making. Attendees were split into teams, given a brief and challenged to create a 1 metre bridge using only paper straws, waste cardboard and tape. Upon completion, models were judged on aesthetics and tested to destruction.
The London Festival of Architecture is an annual, month-long celebration of architecture and city-making, taking place across London in June. The festival’s mission is to open discussions around architecture, test new ideas, and uncover and promote new talent.
