Knox Street, Major Mixed-Use Development, Breaks Ground in Dallas

On January 10, the KPF-designed office building within the city’s most expensive real estate project got underway in a ceremony kicking off construction.

Spanning four acres on the eastern edge of Highland Park, Knox Street includes residential, retail, hotel, and office programming. KPF’s contribution to the 3-tower development is a 150,000 square foot office building at the site’s north end, bordering the Katy Trail, an active pathway for pedestrians and cyclists that runs through northern Dallas. ISN Software Corp., a Dallas-based company, has leased the top four floors of the office building. The office is complemented by more than 100,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by more than 200 people, celebrating the start of a real estate endeavor that represents faith in the strong Texas market. Knox Street is scheduled to open in 2026.
