On Tuesday, September 22, the KPF Principal took part in a conversation with fellow Rhode Island School of Design alumni, moderated by Deborah Berke.
The panel featured four architects who obtained their BArch from RISD, Deborah Berke ‘77, Donald Choi ‘82, Allan Shope ’78, and KPF’s Hana Kassem ’95. The panelists discussed the present state of the architecture field and various career models.
Kassem shared lessons learned over her 25-year architectural career, during which she has applied a human-centric approach to design across various project typologies, examining how we affect our environment and how in turn our built environment impacts us.
