Following her involvement in the AEC Tech Hackathon in New York last fall, the KPF Senior Software Developer led a workshop and present a lecture at the symposium in Spain.
Justyna led a workshop alongside Sophie Moore, Engineer at Core Studio on “Grasshopper on the Web: Creating Websites with Rhino.compute, Vue, and Three.js.” Attendees learned how to prepare Grasshopper scripts to run on custom web pages with Rhino.Compute. They also explored the basics of Vue.js, a user-friendly web framework, enabling users to create web interfaces that can control Grasshopper definition inputs. The workshop took place on April 19 from 9:30 am to 1 pm at the McNeel Europe office at Roger de Flor, 32-34, bajos, Barcelona.
The day following the workshop, Justyna presented at the symposium where she reflected on the state of the practice today and looked to what is ahead. Her talk began at 3:20 pm and she spoke on a Q&A panel at 4 pm. The symposium was held at Talent Garden Barcelona, Carrer de Ramon Turró, 169, A.
In the final event of the program, Justyna served as a judge for the 26-hour hackathon. She sat on a panel alongside David Andres Leon, Director of MaCAD | IaaC, and Luis E. Fraguada, Developer | Robert McNeel & Associates.
