Joel Peterson Discusses Making Change and Managing People in a Pandemic

The KPF Associate Director of Human Resources spoke on two virtual panels, sharing his expertise in workplace branding and talent retention, with a particular lens on diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.

“Catalysts for Change,” the panel discussion for the Society for Marketing Professional Services, centered on maximizing engagement within and outside of the workplace and communicating value to prospective hires. As a leader in progressive HR management, Peterson shared his knowledge on the importance of workplace and client culture, and establishing a brand that attracts and retains the best talent. He explained how he has developed meaningful diversity, equity, and inclusion policies at KPF and made efforts to establish community and purpose—initiatives that have helped KPF succeed. “Catalysts for Change” was held virtually on Thursday, January 13. As a special guest on the Professional Services Management Journal’s A/E/C Senior Executive Briefing, Peterson participated in a Q&A focusing on the changing office model and the way that the Omicron variant has complicated plans to shift back to in-person and hybrid systems.
