On Wednesday, September 23, the KPF Principal will present prior to the panel on clean construction.
In recognition of Climate Week, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is hosting a two-day event including panels, Q&As, and keynote speakers, titled “Breaking Ground on Clean Construction: Rethinking and Rebuilding for a Greener Economy.” Wednesday’s focus is on highlighting concrete examples of environmentally conscious construction projects. Speakers will discuss case studies that use low-carbon materials and exhibit cleaner construction practices. Jill Lerner will give a presentation before the day’s panel.
Jill is a Board Member of the New York Building Congress and, in 2019, was appointed to the New York City Climate Advisory Board enacted by Local Law 97, one of the most ambitious plans for reducing emissions in New York City.
The event on Wednesday, September 23 will begin at 11 AM EDT. Learn more about the PANYNJ event and register here.
