Following the KPF-designed campus’ shortlist in the general chapter’s award program, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) has been nominated in the Educational Architecture category of the China-led program.
Phase one of HKUST(GZ) has been fully operational since 2022, establishing a world-leading standard for sustainable developments in China. The 267-acre, carbon neutral-ready research and learning campus is founded on six key driving principles: Zero Impact, Resilience, Futureproofing, Social Wellbeing, Regenerative Systems, and Living Lab.
