Four KPF Projects Named Finalists in the Architizer A+ Awards

SouthWorks, Huamu Lot 10, One North Quay, and 712 Fifth Avenue have been selected as finalists for the design awards.

In the Masterplan category, SouthWorks envisions the adaptive reuse of the historic Morse Chain Industrial site in Ithaca, New York, as a diverse, sustainable neighborhood and regional economic catalyst that activates the community while celebrating its unique history.

Huamu Lot 10, in Shanghai, a finalist in the Office category, consists of three towers situated around a central plaza. Each of the towers are characterized by the subtle cantilevered floors, creating a dramatic gesture on the city’s skyline.

One North Quay, which is set to become Europe’s largest and most technologically advanced life science building, is a finalist in the Unbuilt Commercial category. The vertical lab has been designed to support cross-discipline collaboration and sets ambitious sustainability goals.

Shortlisted in the specialist Architecture + Glass category, the subtle luxury of the renovated retail space at 712 Fifth Avenue echoes the detail of the landmark Rene Lalique windows.

The Architizer A+ Awards is the largest architecture awards program, focused on promoting and celebrating the year’s best architecture and products. Winners are decided by a public vote and announced will be announced in June.  Read more and vote for your favorite projects here.
