KPF Director Elie Gamburg presented a talk entitled “Commerce and Campus: Lab, Research, Life-science and Technology Office – A Global Perspective”.
Elie’s presentation used KPF’s portfolio to review new ideas in master planning and the design of buildings that can flexibly accommodate a mix of life science and technology-centric office uses at a range of scales.
Proposed infrastructure and connectivity links between Oxford and Cambridge, have brought new economic growth to this region including the development of 1m new homes, a new HQ for AstraZenica and the 1.2bn Welcome Genome Campus project.
The conference, organised by Built Environment Networking, looked at key updates across the ARC corridor and brought together a cross-industry speakers from public and private organisations. Read more here.
