China Resources Tower and Rosewood Hong Kong Win Gold MIPIM Asia Awards

The projects were recognized as the Best Office Development and the Best Hotel and Tourism Development, respectively.

China Resources Tower, a supertall development in Shenzhen, houses one of China’s premiere companies. The building’s form, towering 392 meters, is symbolic of China Resources’ historic growth and stature. At the peak of the tower is the “sky hall”, a space which allows visitors to occupy the building’s absolute highest point. Located in the dynamic Houhai District, China Resources Tower embodies the city’s forward-looking culture.

Rosewood Hong Kong, housed within the mixed-use Victoria Dockside development, celebrates art and design through the use of various rich materials and forms. The tower acts as a landmark on the waterfront, reflecting Hong Kong’s art district within its hospitality space. The hotel connects directly to Victoria Dockside’s retail, arts, and residential space, as well as underground pedestrian corridors and public transportation, further integrating itself into the site.

Since 2007, the MIPIM Asia Awards have recognized top-tier projects in Asia Pacific’s property industry. The Awards honor Asia’s most innovative and successful developments, both built and unbuilt, across 11 categories. Learn more about the 2019 Awards here.
