The KPF Senior Associate Principal and current Secretary of AIA International led a tour centered on Kingsway as part of the chapter’s 2022 conference.
The walking tour’s route included Chancery Lane and the Courts of Law leading to Great Turnstile Street and KPF’s MidCity Place, continuing through Holborn and returning through the passages and courts of Covent Garden. The tour made stops at KPF’s Carriage Hall and Floral Court. Along the way, Alex led the delegates as they assessed the historic context of the city, new insertions on the city fabric, and significant public realm improvements at Strand Aldwych. The tour concluded with drinks on the river terrace at Somerset House.
Alex is currently the 2021-2022 Secretary of AIA International. The conference, which ran from September 29th to October 3rd, had attendees from Europe, South America, East Asia, Africa, and USA. Learn more here.
