The KPF-designed building in San Francisco was named the Best Office/Retail/Mixed-Use project for Northern California by Engineering News-Record’s regional outlet.
Opened earlier this year, 415 Natoma features large open floor plates and planted terraces, creating state-of-the-art workspaces that provide tenants with flexibility and access to the outdoors. At the ground level, amenities and design gestures welcome the community into its public spaces, connecting the building to its neighborhood. 415 Natoma’s design responds to its location at the heart of San Francisco and the emerging SoMa District, articulating the delicate relationship between old and new through varied façade treatments and massing.
The 2022 jury was comprised of 10 experts in the AEC industry and they were tasked with reviewing almost 100 projects across California and Hawaii, selecting the winners across 18 categories. Winning projects will be celebrated in a pair of awards events in October, with the Northern California event taking place on October 18th in San Francisco’s Merchants Exchange Building.
