1020 Spring Street Tops Out in Atlanta

Today, KPF joined project developer Portman Holdings in the Georgia state capital to celebrate the milestone for the hospitality-forward office building.

Occupying a prized spot at the highpoint of Midtown Atlanta, 1020 Spring Street spans 25 stories and 525,000 square feet, comprising top tier office space, areas for collaboration, extensive amenities, and planted terraces. The design gives passersby a sense of the building’s scale and varied programs as the geometric pattern of the façade modulates between the podium and tower above.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone and to see 1020 Spring Street continue to progress,” said Richard Nemeth, KPF Managing Principal. “Our team is especially proud of this project and what it means for the future of the workplace in Atlanta, and we are grateful for the collaboration with our client, Portman Holdings, as well as HKS and the larger team working hand in hand to make this project a reality.”

Members of the KPF project team were present, including Senior Associate Principal Franz Prinsloo. Last fall, The Atlanta Business Chronicle highlighted 1020 Spring Street as a “trophy project” underway in the city. Read more here.
