
Rebecca Cheng
Rebecca Cheng is a Principal at KPF and architect with substantial design and project administration experience, including commercial, residential and leisure developments in Asia. She joined KPF in Shanghai in 2004 to oversee the firm’s local operations, providing client liaison and consultant coordination for projects throughout China.
Rebecca has served as the Shanghai project manager and local point of contact for several high-profile projects in China, including the award winning Jing An Kerry Center, Pudong Kerry Center, the Xintiandi Langham and Andaz Hotels, Harbin Bank Headquarters and etc. The current projects that Rebecca is leading locally include Qiantan Center, Shanghai Dream Center and China Mingshen Dongjiadu Development. Rebecca has also worked on the Changsha Meixi Lake masterplan project and NYU Shanghai in the areas of planning and interior design.
Before joining KPF, Rebecca worked with Leigh & Orange Ltd. in Hong Kong for eight years. She was project architect on Pudong Shangri-La Hotel extension, and a luxury residential project at Guan Nan golf club.
Rebecca is a registered architect in Hong Kong and active member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and design community at large. With substantial international experience, she is also a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects having obtained a PRC Class 1 Register Architect Qualification in 2008. She is a member of the Planning & Design Committee, Shanghai Shopping Center Association. Rebecca is also involved in CTBUH Shanghai, ULI China and the Shanghai AIA.
