KPF is a global practice responsible for the design and long-term stewardship of some of the world’s most successful urban districts. Our portfolio spans geographies from the US to Europe and the Far East, delivering projects across many scales and typologies, including workplaces, housing, and academic buildings. We are known for tall buildings that define skylines; we are proudest of the way we have integrated these buildings within the city fabric to reinforce local character and support vibrant street life.

Best in Craft: Vote for KPF here
At KPF, we believe an ambitious concept is only successful when richly composed and well executed within both the overall form and in the smallest of details. Whether it is the patterns of bricklaying, the logic of wood joinery, or the intricacies of steel shop drawings, we continually adapt materials and methods to elevate our designs, both aesthetically and practically.

Best in Sustainability: Vote for KPF here
Often large, urban developments, KPF’s projects are in some of the biggest and fastest growing cities in the world, faced with major climate challenges. By implementing design solutions that integrate with and enhance mobility, energy and water infrastructure, natural systems, and the microclimates around them, we aim for positive impact beyond each building’s site and brief.

Large Mixed-Use Project: Vote for KPF’s TCC DAKA RRRC here
This groundbreaking facility in Xiulin Township, Taiwan is a living laboratory that demonstrates the connections between culture, industry, and the built and natural environments. Located next to an operational cement factory, this mixed-use project includes a waste-to-energy plant, a visitors’ center, a public park, and Taiwan’s largest seed conservation center.

Architecture +Stone: Vote for KPF’s Panorama St Paul’s here
Panorama St Paul’s, originally an outdated 1980s office building, was treated as an “urban quarry,” with the original Portland stone and granite reused to create a new high-performance façade. The adaptive reuse project has retained approximately 70% of the building’s original structure, introduced landscaped external spaces, and increased floor area by 96%—saving 465 kg of CO₂ per square meter in the process.
