Forth Bagley Unpacks What Makes Architecture Timeless at NYCxDESIGN 2026

The KPF Principal will join a panel of design leaders at HUSH Studio in Brooklyn on May 19 to explore one of architecture’s most enduring questions: How do we build places that last?

Hosted by HUSH—the NYC-based experience design firm behind immersive environments for Uber, Meta, Citibank, and others—the evening conversation is part of NYCxDESIGN 2026 and centers on the theme of “Designing for Timelessness During Exponential Change.” Forth will be joined by Robert Hammond of Therme Group US, Belinda Jain of JFKIAT Terminal 4, and Tina Vaz of the MTA, with HUSH Founding Partner David Schwarz moderating. Together, the panelists will challenge the assumption that timelessness and innovation are opposing forces, arguing instead that the most enduring environments are anchored in human behavior and shared values, with elements designed both to endure and to evolve.

As the leader of large-scale projects including Hudson Yards in New York, Hong Kong’s Victoria Dockside, and Changi Airport Terminal 5 in Singapore, Forth has spent his career designing environments that must perform across decades, absorbing change without losing their essential character. His work consistently returns to a central conviction: that density, programmatic layering, and the meeting of public and private space are what make cities—and the buildings within them—resilient.
