The KPF Principal recently participated in two panel discussions and delivered a keynote address at the Tall Building Forum 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the forum, Florence participated in two panel discussions and delivered a keynote titled “Transit-Oriented Development as Catalyst for Urban Transformation,” exploring how public-private partnerships and supertall development can engage the ground plane and shape more connected, livable cities. As a principal leading KPF’s work in Asia, Florence drew on projects—including the award-winning Victoria Dockside—to illustrate how policy, mixed-use programming, and transit infrastructure can work together to elevate the public realm.
Florence joined Marc Salemink of UNStudio, Dennis Ho of SOM, and Tony Chan of ARUP on the panel “Tall Buildings as Tools of Urban Regeneration,” moderated by Shonn Mill of CVU. She also joined Timothy Soebroto of Meinhardt Façade Technology, Peng Liu and Kien Hoang of ARUP, Richard Wood of Snøhetta, and Nam Hoai Tan of Legrand on “Taller Smarter Greener Better: Designing for the 21st Century,” moderated by Hoang.
Organized by the Construction Sector Committee of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) in partnership with the Council on Vertical Urbanism (CVU), the forum brought together architects, urban planners, developers, and sustainability experts from Vietnam and abroad to explore the future of high-rise development.
The forum took place on May 14 from 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection Hotel, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
