The KPF-designed hotels were recognized in the hotel newbuild and amenity categories for bars, lounges, and event spaces in the 2021 awards.
KPF partnered with the Rosewood Hotel Group to design the two hospitality destinations. The Rosewood Guangzhou is located within the upper floors of the CTF Finance Centre, offering views towards the Pearl River Delta in southern China. The project’s Too High bar, located on the 107th floor, won the Bar, Club, and Lounge category, where Yabu Pushelberg led the interiors, and was shortlisted in the Hotel Newbuild and Event Spaces categories.
The Rosewood Hong Kong, also shortlisted in the Bar, Club, and Lounge category, resides in the landmark tower of the KPF-planned Victoria Dockside in close proximity to the city’s Kowloon district, providing panoramic views of the harbor. Parts and Labor Design designed the interiors of the Rosewood Hong Kong.
