Doug Hocking and Andrew Werner Take Part in ASCEND Panel

On March 25th, the KPF Principal and Senior Associate Principal will discuss the future of mass timber in a panel produced in collaboration with New York Building Congress’ Young Professionals Committee.

In the panel titled “The Future of Mass Timber,” Doug Hocking will provide insight into the use of timber in KPF projects and how mass timber influences design and construction. Andrew Werner will co-moderate the panel. The panel is part of ASCEND 2021, NYC’s Building Innovation annual webinar series.

Doug will be joined by Kevin Morin, PE, Principal at Code Consultants, Inc.; Christopher Peltier, PE, Partner at Cerami; John Peronto, SE, PE, SECB, LEED AP, Senior Principal at Thornton Tomasetti; and Michelle Roelofs, PE, Associate, Structural at Arup. Delia Riggi, Project Engineer, HNTB, Co-Chair at YPC, will co-moderate the panel alongside Andrew.
