Dominic (Nick) Dunn has over 20 years of experience as an architect and project manager, working on a variety of projects across the United States, South America, Asia, and the Middle East. He has collaborated on a wide range of building types—from large-scale, mixed-use office buildings with residential and retail components to institutional facilities, luxury residences and resorts, and master plans for campuses and cities. He joined the New York office of Kohn Pedersen Fox in 1988 before moving to London in 2009 to become a Principal.

Since joining KPF, Nick has been involved in some of the firm’s most notable projects, including the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, DC, which received several awards including the National Chapter AIA Honor Award. He has also managed a number of corporate facilities projects managed such as 745 Seventh Avenue near Times Square, a corporate headquarters for Morgan Stanley; the Citigroup Headquarters in Long Island City, Queens, for Tishman Speyer Properties; and current work on the Ventura Corporate Towers in Rio de Janeiro, which comprises two Class A office towers totaling 1.25 million gross square feet to become the largest office building in the city.

In Asia, his experience includes Shanghai’s Plaza 66—a 2.5-million-square-foot mixed-use development with office and retail components. Nick is also presently serving as project manager for the Jiang Wan Master Plan in Shanghai—a 66-acre triangular plot that will include office, residential, educational and cultural facilities, as well as considerable open green space and interconnected waterways.

His residential and hospitality projects include One Jackson Square—a 65,000-square-foot luxury residence in New York’s historic Greenwich Village, and the MGM Grand Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, which will comprise nine million gross square feet in three towers connected by skybridges at 230- and 450-feet.

Nick received a Bachelor of Arts in Music, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany and a Bachelor of Architecture, cum laude, from the City College of New York. A Registered Architect in the State of New York State, he is also certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED-accredited professional (LEEDTM AP). Nick is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and is also involved in the Architecture, Construction, Engineering (ACE) Mentorship Program.
